I like her, she even looks like a saloon gal in that pic.

She does look nice in the corset. ;D Megan Fox is undeniably gorgeous, but I can't buy into her being a "saloon gal". She doesn't have that hard edge that working girls have. Might I humbly suggest Ms Fairuza Balk? She's beautiful but has that slightly rough around the edges look...and she's known to portray rather damaged characters as well. I totally agree with you rusty. I'm still not sold on Megan Fox being good in this, although I may be pleasantly surprised. Rough around the edges works for me too, but this actually reminds me of a conversation Hex has with a prostitute in a previous issue:

From CBR's June 11th Comic Reel: JONAH HEXActress Megan Fox spoke to MTV about what she's doing in the new movie. "That movie is gonna be amazing," she said. "Its a post-civil war, apocalyptic type Western. The director Jimmy [Hayward] is a lunatic, and he might be a genius. From some of the things I've seen him shoot, it's a badass movie. They've changed her name a couple of times — it's Leila now. She is a prostitute. She's a good ol' working girl, and she's a love-interest to Jonah ... of sorts. I mean, it's by no means a classic type of relationship." Starring Josh Brolin and John Malkovich, release date: August 6, 2010 ============================= Megan Fox thinks this movie is "badass"... At least she didn't say extreeeeeme I guess. I just don't know what to think. Please, please, please just let it be subtle with at least a little subtext for us to work out on our own. My mantra for the next year will be Brolin Malkovich, Brolin Malkovich, Brolin Malkovich...

From CBR's June 22nd Comic Reel: JONAH HEXActress Megan Fox is quoted at Sci Fi Wire talking about her role in the DC adaptation. "It's pretty serious," Fox said. "It's the most serious thing I've done so far." Starring Josh Brolin, release date: August 6, 2010. ================================= Well gosh, I sure hope she doesn't strain her acting muscles with all that seriousness.

I'm getting the sense that you don't really like Megan Fox. LOL. ;D

When it comes to acting and work in movies? No. (Based on what I've seen so far.) Is she a bad person? Probably not.

Just joshin' with ya. I'm really indifferent with respects to her as an actor and a person.

While the news has come in recently that Fox's involvement in teh Hex film is merely a cameo, it would appear that it is more than that according to the movie banner seen recently at SDCC Click on the image for other views of the poster at collider.com.

Well, it's pretty clear they know how to exploit her popularity. I'm hoping that's the extent of it, and that her role isn't bigger than a scene or two. Even if that's the case though, that mentality concerns me: Choosing someone for a role, no matter how small, based only on their dollar value betrays a willingness that may affect other aspects of the movie. That poster design doesn't exactly put me at rest either. From the poses to the palette, this looks more like Underworld than the Outlaw Josie Wales... I'm not giving up all hope yet, but I think it might be best if I start preparing myself for lines like; "I've got six reasons right here." or "Time to FACE justice!" or "Lock and load... varmint" P.S. - I watched a couple clips on the same site as the poster link, of Megan being interviewed about Jonah Hex & the photo below. She seems quite nice and down to Earth... It's just too bad she can't act her way out of a wet, paper community-theater-production-of-Cats bag yet. Maybe she saves all her talent for interviews and is actually quite nasty though? Come to think of it, she does touch her face and glance off to the side quite a few times... Hmmmm... ;D (click the pic for the Hex interview clip)
