I learned that Barry Blair (of Aircel comics fame) recently passed away of a brain aneurysm (Jan. 3) He was quite a colorful and controversial figure in Canadian comics for a while, especially in the 80's and early 90's. He was best known for his... shall we say... inappropriate-looking elves. On that subject I will say no more, but wow, time goes by and people die...
