Apparently Sony has ignored repeated requests to make games more accessible. blogs.findlaw.com/injured/2009/11/for-blind-lawsuit-against-sony-is-clear.htmlThere are so many things wrong with this that I just don't know where to start. Oh, wait. I do. It's a VIDEO game. I'm sorry you're blind and I wholeheartedly wish things were more accessible for people with (all kinds of) disabilities such as this--companies really need to step up and make accessibility a priority--but this is just silly. Firstly: Sony makes consoles. NOT GAMES. Secondly: So does Microsoft and Nintendo. Thirdly: Admit it, this is opportunism.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that this guy and others can't enjoy the video part of video games. I know I take my sight for granted on a regular basis including when I'm playing the X-Box. That being said, maybe this guy could dedicate his time and energy to creating games that are audio and vibration centric instead of suing. Maybe that's a whole new market that's just waiting to be tapped which this guy could pioneer instead of wasting his time with ridiculous litigious fits.
