In honour of Sesame Street's 40th birthday, I thought I'd post a few of my favourite animated shorts here. For some reason, it was the really psychedelic stuff that resonated most with me as a kid. Go figure. Anywho, I'm sure everyone here has a few fav's too that I might have missed, forgotten or didn't post for brevity's sake like the Ladybugs' Picnic, the Pinball Song, the Alligator King, the Falling Baker etc. Feel free to follow up my post with some of your fondest memories, animated or otherwise.

Is it wrong for me to still like this stuff?

The influence of this era of Sesame Street will forever hold sway over me. Especially the sense of humour, the wonder and specifically the art styles of the animated shorts. Nothing wrong with enjoying such open-minded creativity in my opinion.
