I remember back when All-Star Batman & Robin started up, there was talk of Neal Adams taking over the art after Jim Lee's 12th issue. Turns out that's not the case, but there is still talk of a Neal Adams Batman project. From the most recent 20 Questions with Dan Didio: 7) darknight11 wrote: What's going on with Neil Adams's Batman project that he posted on his website?
DiDio: Well, since it's never been officially announced, I can't really say if anything's going on with it.
Nrama: Well, it's on his website!
DiDio: And if I had 80 pages in my drawer of it, right now, I still wouldn't be able to talk about it.So if you go to Neal's site HERE and poke around, you'll find a little news on something called "Odyssey". So I did a quick search for that and found info on CBR from back in 2007 HERE.
"Adams revealed the project to be a mini-series in collaboration with Frank Miller, similarly famous for his hugely acclaimed tales of the Dark Knight. The mini-series is called "Batman: Odyssey" and will be plotted and drawn by Neal Adams."Hope this actually happens at some point. Adams is one of the best Batman artists out there (or in general) and I for one would love to see his return to the character. In fact, I just picked up Brave & the Bold #85 at the flea market the other day with Neal's now iconic redesign of Green Arrow's costume and was reminded of why he's lauded as one of the best.
