Nice setup guys. Looks like a cozy little studio. Must be nice not having to answer to the man... Especially when the man is an idiot.

Well yeah they didn't sound too good, if I'm honest. However sound quality can be overlooked a little bit when the content is as good as your show. But imagine having both at the same time? I put a new thread in the TECH section with some basic ideas to maybe help you guys record and produce your show outside of a radio station.
You can take my advice or leave it, I just genuinely want to help out if I can. Help make the transition from radio station to home recording as painless as possible.
I will give out any advice I can about recording. I have run my own home recording studio for the past five years and back in the day we used one of those 4 track tascam cassette recorders to record all the songs my old band did in the early to mid-nineties. Boy where those some fun days.

Now boarding Chronic Air flight 105! Tonight's in-flight entertainment: The delicious travesty of televised Dating in the Dark! (Can you feel Ryan digging the hole already?) We actually engage in full fledged discussion of a real comic book while tackling Warren Ellis and Marek Oleksicki's "Frankenstein's Womb". Erik Larsen lays the wood to Neil Gaiman and everybody in the world lays the wood to James Robinson in Chronic News. Is that a Marvel DVD ROM sighting in Market Spotlight? Strange but true. More hijinks with our friends from Canada, Where Monsters Dwell, as Manatee Weight Loss hits the home stretch! Put whatever you can get your hands on in the upright position, fasten your seatbelts, and sit back for another ride on Chronic Insomnia, the podcast you hate to love!

Whatever gets a rise out of you. At first we only did it because it was just something we thought would be funny, now we do it cause it will be funny and because it gets a rise out of you. Both great reasons in our minds.
By all means take our shit and mess with it. Did oyu like the Omni-Tron 9000 analysis of you? I would imagine you didn't. I can't wait to hear both barrels from you. We deserve it.
I liked the analysis that Omni-Tron 9000 gave Mike and Erin, that was pretty funny, even to me. Both Ryan and I came up with the idea and it still made me laugh. I am looking forward to your show this week.
The one thing about Ryan losing to you, even if you have a secret way of losing around 30lbs. in four weeks, is that he doesn't really lose and well neither do you. You both win by losing. It's all good.
Ryan thinks he has this in the bag and well I have to agree with him. He's still not done losing weight either. I bet he loses another 6-8 pounds by Labor Day. We shall see though. That show, when we win is going to be a celebration and we are going to REALLY rub it in with you guys, so be prepared for that. HA!
Talk to you soon and good luck with the show tonight. I am looking forward to hearing you tear us apart.
Michael

Check out another week of Chronic Insomnia. In this episode: * Ryan's mid-life crisis now comes with limited time offer! * Quincy dazzles with his knowledge of Canada in Pop Quiz! * The Omnitron 6000 turns on its masters! * Why Superman Secret Files is like paying $300 for an IPod manual! * We reveal a $100 trade sitting in your LCS right now for $35 Reviews of Mayhem # 1, Adventure Comics # 1, Green Lantern # 44, and the usual filth and blarney. Bon appetit! Ryan On a side note, during the Pop Quiz section of the show I was asked about my knowledge of World War Two and how Canada was involved and I am a moron. I was wrong and I am man enough to admit that. My grandfather had gigantic balls just like the Canadians. The sad thing is that I am French Canadian as you can tell by my last name. So go Canadians, I love the all of you. Michael

No show this week. We are taking one of our two weeks off each year this upcoming week. Ryan is working on some writing things and I am having a small family crisis. I wrote this song about Remy, but I thought it might be too offensive to him, but once he loses the Manatee Weight Loss 2009, then I will let him hear it himself. I think I'm going to just email it to him instead of playing it on the show. As far as swag from Chronic Insomnia, we have a place to buy our swag if you want. www.zazzle.com/chronicinsomnia/find/qs-/sd-desc/st-popularityThere is the link. Michael
