Apparently there were issues with the sound on the sample files, so who knows... Rick Rubin's been making the rounds saying the sound is like an explosion of energy.
Or, it could be an implosion of epic proportions.

The rest of the album is soooooooo much better than the single and that 10 minute epic track. They should stick to tight, short, high-energy songs and steer clear of the proggy ballad stuff they fail miserably at.

A lot of the reviews seem to reflect your post. A lot of people are puzzled as to why they would go with "Day".
I've yet to buy the album... and to be honest, I'm not sure I will any time soon. I've seen the video (BLAH!) and that's about it.
