According to this story at Newsarama, "In August, DC Comics will begin offering 32-page comic book titles with a $3.99 cover price in their DC Universe family of titles. A spokesperson for the publisher declined to comment further on the change, but confirmed that the new price point, first noticed by fans in DC's August 2010 solicitations, is indeed accurate and official. " Definitely read the whole story for the full scoop, but my favourite part has to be this: "Over at Vertigo, American Vampire #6, the first issue of that series solicited at 32-pages and not 40, will keep its $3.99 cover price. The issue will also be the first of the series not co-written by Stephen King. " Apparently it costs more to not have Stephen King co-write your comic.
