Out of respect for my wonderful MacBookPro (I don't want to wear it out using it to surf the web, that's just plain degrading for that wonderful machine), I actually went out and bought a machine with Window 7 on it. I purchased it yesterday at around noon and Windows 7 is so stable it's only crashed on me twice in less than 24 hours. Yay Microsoft. What a bunch of horseshit. You can't put the computer into hybernate and expect it to come back and work, that would just be silly. BOTH times I have tried to put my HP laptop into sleep/hybernate, it's come back with the mouse not working and the whole machine locked up. Is this supposed to inspire me with confidence? I haven't switched my MacBookPro off for over two years and I've put it to sleep literally 500 times with NOT ONE error or crash.
I guess it just goes to show you how much further ahead of things Apple really is when it comes to friendly computers. I really wish that XP Pro was still around, that was "pretty" stable. I'd give that operating system 6 out of 10 at least. So far Windows 7 gets a 2 out of 10. It does look pretty though, oh wait...yeah it looks like OSX, that would explain a lot.

One of the key reasons why I Windows and I have an agreement to stay away from each other--we just don't see eye to eye. It thinks I'm a moron (rightfully so) and I hate that it's high-maintenance. I just don't have the time, nor the organic processing power, to deal with it's hang-ups.

Not to mention it's fucking rubbish. I mean I have never had any problems with the countless Macs I have owned. I have owned at least twelve Macs in the past 15 years or so and the only reason I had to get rid of them is because they were horribly outdated. I was using a G3 500Mhz. iMac up until about a year ago and it still worked FINE. It was a little slow, but it worked and worked good.
Long live the Mac and unfortunately in this world I have to have a PC for some things. I can beat the shit out of my PC laptop and let my Macs work for the cooler things.
