Well the Gauntlet has been thrown down this week on our show. Ryan has officially challenged Remy to a weight loss challenge to defy the ages. Check out our new show for the prize that Remy could win if he beats the Manatee at his own weight loss game. Thanks for the support and we hope to hear from you guys soon on the air or in podcast form. chronicinsomnia.podbean.com/The Chronic Crew Michael

The gauntlet has indeed been thrown down. As I sit here typing this eating my second chocolate, chocolate chip pop tart of the morning, I have no doubt i will emerge the victor. My official weigh in will be next Wed night on WMD. Our first show at CHSR 97.9fm.
I want that Shrek Chia Pet head!

Great show this week guys. The Chia could be yours but Ryan is pretty damn into losing weight so be careful. He doesn't know how to use forums or do any of this shit so you won't see him on here much. However I do know that he really wants to kick your ass. Well I thought I would say hi. We upload our show on Tuesdays and if you listen to our show before you record your show on Wednesday nights you WILL hear us talking about you and you might want to comment back to us. We could have this back and forth thing going if that sounds like something you guys would want to do. Michael

This weeks show gets deep into the David Carradine extravaganza. We also go deeper into the Manatee Weight Watch 2009. Have we come up with a secret to shave a few extra pounds off Ryans Gunt, literally. Check out the show and we'll be sure and tune into your show on Wednesday. We love you guys and wish you the best of luck at your new home. Michael

Man, that is one slow moving sea cow. Well it looks like there is another level to the Manatee Weight Loss 2009.
Ryan and myself are the heave weights.....the main even if you will.
Now it looks like the 2 Mikes could be duking it out for the middle weight crown. Will American Mike take Canadian Mikes challenge? Fine out this week on WMD. We'll have the offical weigh in and we'll see if The Chronic Crew are man enough to call in and taunt us.

We would be more than "Man" enough to call in on Wednesday night, but I think Ryan works. I host a Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying night Wednesdays but...I think I can spare a few minutes to call in. I will see what Ryan works on Wednesday night.
Is there a number I can call in to, or do I just call the radio station. Or can I use Skype? Either way I am going to try and call in and NOT swear because we are on live radio.
If you can listen to this weeks show BEFORE you go live Wednesday night. There is dated material there for you to hear that could be something for you to talk about.
P.S. I accept the challenge from the OTHER Mike. If you want to call me middle weight I would be flattered actually, but I weigh in the area of 230 right now, so I am far from tiny. Mike weighs 185, he's fucking Kate Moss compared to me. I am going to beat his ass totally since I plan on losing about 30 pounds. If a guy with any height at all loses 30 pounds after weighing 185, he's going to be awfully thin. But I accept the challenge.
My weight right now is 232. I just stepped on the scale myself. Let's all get healthy this summer.

Well I'm only 5'7" soaking wet, so I could certainly stand to lose a few. Why don't we go by %?

That might work. I am 6'0 so yeah the percentage might work. However my Math skills are as good as my Dog's so you'll have to give me the formula involved in figuring that shit out. My limited skills involve terrible writing, playing the guitar and making films. I don't have room in my skull for Math skills. I can balance my check book and that's all I need.
I am up for it. I guess 185 for 5'7 is a little chunky. Okay let's call it fat. We could both stand to lose a few poundage in the girth type areas. This week we came up with a fool proof way for Ryan to lose some extra weight. Listen to the show and you'll find out. It's pretty gross...that's all I'm going to say about that.

We're having a lot of fun with this on our end. And incidentally, feel free to openly besmirch my Geek Cred for referring to Ivan Drago as "Victor" during our last MWL2009 segmento. That's just inexcusable, really, and I deserve a public flogging.

PS: Doubling up on the chocolate chip pop tarts, Remy? I can smell victory already...
