From CBR's July 31st Comic Reel: THE AVENGERSEdward Norton is keeping quiet on the membership of the Hulk in the Mega Superhero production, according to Sci Fi Wire. "I probably won't comment on that just because they keep a pretty tight rein on what they are letting out," says Norton. Meanwhile, Nuke the Fridge is claiming Norton will make a cameo appearance in "Iron Man 2" leading into "The Avengers." Starring Samuel L. Jackson, release date: May 2nd, 2012

question for others, how does everyone feel about the use of ultimate nick fury (samuel jackson) being used in the current movies rather then the classic marvel nick fury? i'm not dead against it as much as i was what they did with kingpin in the daredevil movie but some part of me would have rather they went with classic marvel nick fury.

I would have preferred classic Fury, but I don't know if he would have translated well. Jackson is a badass so I'm okay with it.

From what I understand, they're going with more of an Ultimates storyline, so why not use the Ultimate Fury.
As a side-note, "Ultimate Fury" sounds like it should be a fighting game.

jackson is pretty bad ass, so i would say i'm not as bother by that as kingpin in daredevil...but the kingpin bothers me from daredevil though...and if what i'm lead to believe by rumours and such, if spiderman's next villian is kingpin then i hope they go with the classic looking kingpin...nothing against michael duncan clarke...he'd make a good rhino or something if they wanted to change things up that way but i'm hoping for a classic looking kingpin...

I think once they landed Jackson for the roll it was, "Ok, were doing Ultimate Fury."
If it had of been anybody other then Sam Jackson I woulda been like, "Whaaaaaaaaat." Just because they based the design on him. Say if they hadda got Will Smith or Wesley Snipes, it woulda been, "Bullshit, where the fuck's Sam!?!"
So in closing, if not Sam, classic Fury.

I'm with Remy as well. I think J would agree with me, though that Thomas Jane would make a fantastic Nick Fury what with his ability to play tough buy roles.

have you watch the new hbo show 'hung'? thomas jane is actually not bad in the show and it's kind of funny...although my friend loves to tell me everytime that we have this conversation about nick fury that bruce willis was made for the role...then i give him one of jay's hair trigger eye rolls and then the conversation ends...i actually think that clive owen would be good for the part
